Learn Fly Tying One-On-OneWith A Master Fly Tyer
All Levels of instruction: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Don Latner is providing individualized fly tying instruction at his Umatilla home.  The lessons are customized to the student's fly tying experience and for what fish the student wants to catch, be it bass, bluegills, redfish, sea trout, etc., here in Florida or catching brook and rainbow trout up north.  Though Don specializes in deer hair spinning and stacking used for bass, he teaches the tying of all types of flies. The scheduling of the classes are flexible to fit the student's free time.  The lessons even include a fishing trip on a local lake for the student to learn how to fish the various flies made during the lessons.  To defray expenses, each two-to-three hour lesson is $15. Don stocks (for sale) the material that it takes to make these flies so one does not have to hunt  all over to find the materials to duplicate the flies learned during the lessons. Contact Don Latner at 669-2247. Local Fly Tying Materials Suppliers (For Web Suppliers, see Links page.)
